Wedding Questions
As your wedding date approaches, you’ll have questions and concerns about events, guests, accommodations, and decor.
Before you begin
We take reservations up to two years in advance.
- Couples meet their wedding planner six months before their wedding date. Before this happens, the signed contract and deposit must be provided.
- If a couple would like to start their planning ahead of time, they may purchase our Diamond Planning Package at $1,000. This is a one-time, non-refundable fee.
We require a signed contract with our wedding team to book a date. Couples should send an initial request on our page to get started. The wedding date must be at least 30 days out to avoid a late fee of $1,000.
Our wedding department responds to inquiries within 24-72 business hours after submitting the initial request.
- 1. Locations are confirmed 45 days before the wedding after final payment is submitted.
2. Or to reserve locations ahead of time a location deposit of $50 per person, per event serves as an option. Couples can write to their wedding specialist or email weddings@aichotelgroup.com to book venues. Payment to secure a reservation must be made 60 days before the wedding.
Accommodations
80% of the total guests are required to stay on the property. Guests who do not stay on the property must purchase day passes. See prices per person here.

Wedding planning
We require a (non-refundable) deposit to confirm your date and time. Couples obtain the Classic Wedding Collection for up to 32 guests.
Couples can request their site inspection anytime prior to 91 days before the wedding arrival date.

Wedding details
Yes. All of our properties provide couples with various in-house services. The party may choose to bring a third party vendor from their country of origin and if the vendor is providing Photography, Videography, Hair, Makeup, or DJ with no equipment, the outside vendor staff must stay on property for a minimum of three (3) nights, and must have an individual reservation made under the name or names of the outside vendor staff directly.
Please note the fees and conditions applied to third-party vendors:
- There is a vendor fee ($1,500.00) per business/service provider hired by the couple and outside our list of preferred vendors.
- We apply this fee to each service that the vendor may provide.
- Each vendor staff member who requires access on additional days must purchase a vendor pass.
- Third-party vendors must pay a Vendor Supervision Fee ($1,500) and Insurance Policy ($500,000) to carry out audiovisual work, bring their DJ equipment, or install heavy-duty materials (trussing structures, tents, hanging fabrics, etc.) within our establishment.
- For weddings in Mexico, outside vendors must provide a copy of their REPSE form.
For weddings in Punta Cana we do not allow any local outside vendors.
If the guest list exceeds our package, couples may add:
- Additional chairs.
- A tier to their wedding cake to accommodate guests.
- Add sparkling wine bottles for their wedding toast.
Prices vary by collection.
Some various benefits and conditions are unique to that of our competitors.
- Each of our collections allows up to 32 guests. This is larger than most competitors.
- We do not require a seven-night minimum stay, a specific room category, or several rooms to receive the complimentary package.
- Our Wedding Group Benefits offer the couple complimentary nights, free room upgrades, and private events depending on the number of rooms in their group.
- Group benefits are earned when guests stay a minimum of 3 nights.
- Our all-inclusive amenities include unlimited long-distance phone calls to the Continental US and Canada, free Wi-Fi, double Hydro Spa Tubs, and a fully stocked mini-bar.
- We feature unlimited a la carte dining and do not require reservations at any of our restaurants.
Room benefits
- A cocktail party that includes location, staff, high cocktail tables with standard linens, an open bar, and hors d’oeuvres for all guests.
- A private event includes the location, staff, tables with standard linens, dinner, and an open bar for all guests.
